Placement and Training Cell

Suguna Polytechnic College placement and training cell has moved from strength to strength and has emerged as a favoured destination for many state and national organisations to recruit the fresh nurtured at the college. Suguna Polytechnic College has an independent Placement cell devoted to cater to the needs of organisations in conducting campus interviews for placements. It is headed by our Placement Officers Mr A.Vimalkumar and Mr.P.Anandkumar.

Centre of excellence, well equipped laboratories, highest computer penetration, Industry Attachment Programme (IAP) and the advantage of being situated in Coimbatore, the second largest industrialized city in the state having Memorandum of Understanding with CODISSIA and links with SIMA, SIEMA, SISSP act as the backbone for acquiring specialized practical skill. Project Exhibitions are conducted at the end of each academic year which are open to students from all institutions, the public and press. This annual event is received with great expectations from all quarters.

Communication Skill

We have a well equipped communication skill Lab with the aim of offering effective training in improving the presentation skills of the students.The main objective of this Lab. is to equip our students with effective speaking and listening skills in English and to enhance students’ performance in Interviews, Group Discussions and other Recruitment exercises.The Lab. offers an opportunity to learn English and to enable the student to get placed in reputed national and global companies. This Lab. is very much helpful in language teaching as well as developing interactive and group communication skills in an effective manner.

The excellent infrastructure of our college facilitates different activities of placement like pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussion and personal interviews as per the requirement of the organisation.
